About Us
PT Mitra Asiatek Biosensor (PT MAB) was initially born from a goal to disseminate the technology based on electrochemical sensor in Asian Region.
In 2018, a representative from Zimmer Peacock Ltd (ZP) visited Indonesia to introduce FoodSense, which was previously known as Chilli Pot. The following year, in 2019, the same representative participated in the biosensor congress in Malaysia. By 2020, the founders of ZP agreed to support the establishment of PT MAB. Currently, PT MAB serves as a distributor for ZP in the Southeast Asia region and has expanded its offerings to include services such as research partnerships and workshop requests. At ZP we are delighted to support the genesis of PT MAB.
PT MAB started as an idea and a collaboration between Martin Peacock and Hasim Munawar, when Hasim was studying for a masters in Leicester UK. Today that idea has become an Indonesia Business which is collaboration with ZP is determined to help support the biosensor development community in SE Asia.
